Increasing the minimum wage may become a mute point if Fair Pay Agreements dictate we need to pay a higher wage than the minimum wage. I am trying at minimum to pay the living wage to all employees but some start on the minimum wage when it’s their first job out of school with no driver license. If I work on this as an employer, increases are not forced on my business and you tend to get a better quality employee when you pay more. In saying this every business is different, with different challenges they need to face.
