Members of the New Zealand Sporting Goods Association are entitled to apply for the Jack Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund, with a chance to be awarded up to $1000 to support staff training. Applications are available once a year. Applications available again in 2021.
To be considered an eligible for Jack Carter funding, the applicant must comply with the following:
- Be a member of the NZSGA specialty group
- Specialise in the supply or distribution of sporting and leisure goods
- Maintains/offers a Service and Repair department.
An individual member is entitled to receive a maximum of $1000 per year. Preference will be given to applicants that have not been granted funding in the previous year and will be prioritised to support those who have best demonstrated, in their application, their staff members’commitment to the sporting goods industry.
