Liz Carlson was travelling and adventuring around New Zealand and the globe, as a travel blogger. But this was all put a screeching halt in 2020, due to COVID-19. She then saw the chance to create a beautiful indoor space filled with happiness-inducing nature, and she gave it a go!

“I really had to elbow my way into this world. I found I had to just show up at places and put my face in front of people, talk to them, and tell them I wanted to build a place that was focused on selling healthy plants, and caring for the plants.
So I found myself trying to break into this industry that was very old and dated and established. I was just this new upstart that wanted to do things differently.”
